Is this an Australian thing, the threads being upside down and backwards?
First post goes to bottom. First page is last page.

Y'all are playing a joke on the rest of us, because of y'all being "down under", right?
It took me a while to get used to it.
Maybe I should move to Oz. Your women are hot, and the US has gone to shite in the past 200 years.

Godzilla is out of commission at the moment.
I rode Thumper to my doctor's appointment today.
I love life on two wheels

New-ish member here.
I have two bikes. One is a 2915 SR400 and the other is a 1981 XS1100H Venturer.
I call my XS Godzilla, because it's a Japanese monster.
My wife calls it "Pig in a poke" because of the problems I've had with it in the short time I've owned it.
But, I love that bike. One day, I'll get it all fixed and right.

I live in Georgia, USA.
Hot, humid, buggy summers.
Winters range from summer-lite to cold.
I'm thrilled to be a member here. I learned about y'all from the UK XS1100 forum.
For some reason, the US XS11 forum won't let me register. :'(
But, I get plenty of love from my UK and OZ and NZ brethren. :)

Thanks for approving my membership.
Thanks for keeping interest in XS11s alive.

Anyway, I don't know much to talk about.
I like motorcycles, music, cars, women, and the outdoors.
I am a professional mechanic (forklifts, and all other material handling equipment), just not a professional motorcycle mechanic.
I like to learn everything I can about anything I'm interested in.
I'm also too cheap to pay anyone to do anything I can (and have time to) do myself.

Good thing I have a good friend who is an automotive machinist.

Anyway, you'll find me here, on the UK forum, and on the SR500 forum.
Also, on some of the guitar forums.

Politics is my least favorite subject. So, I don't expect to be getting on any soapboxes, ever.
I have friends who only want to talk about politics. I can't even talk to them anymore, because I spend the entire time tuning them out.

So, anybody want to send me a good condition SR500 crankshaft, con-rod, and piston for my birthday? :D
