Good to Hear from Bundaberg. I live in Buderim and have just found out it`s near impossible to get some needed clutch bits and brake bits in Australia. Picking bike up from a mechanic mate on the 27th of this month. Concerned I won`t get bits from the USA in time. Got any tips for best place to purchase?
Yeah all my practical ideas are looking ugly too. So might leave it awhile as I suspect it won`t be much of a prob re reverse gear.
Cheers, Doug Mc

My wife is Visually impaired, so I reckon I`ll need some method for a simple reverse gear setup for my recently acquired XS1100 outfit. Most ideas I don`t like so far. Thinking of modifying a caravan mover to be a bit quicker (increase wheel diameter?), then mounting it between Bike & chair so that a simple leveraging mount will work by continuing to hold it against the bitumen, so that it pushes (not pulls). Then a simple push down to clip it back for stand by ...Hope that describes what I mean, but I bet there`s better ideas from more experienced guys here. Cheers, Doug
