Hmmm,

I can see a carpark edition of "workshop" with all the models lined up and the differences recorded in photos and put on the site.

You have an original pic Bryan, think I remember seeing one? EDIT: missed the pic, awesome :)
Think Jonesy's xs1100E 2U6 2H9-100101 1978 Macho Marroon
Is the best example of that model I know EDIT 2: might need the other pea with the original exhaust

So we have 7 models released in Australia.
I will have a go if you like to get a pic of each together but not sure how well I will do. So agreed this list is correct?

Brett, the part number site doesn't seem to like clicking forward by the page number links at the bottom.
Instead of that, put the cursor over the year select box and click on the year you want to check out, then click on the "go find" box.
All the different models of that year will be displayed then along with the black camera icons that denote that there's a photo sitting behind it.
Like i said, there are some missing but it's as good as I've found (so far)

The details of the Police bike in SA that is on Gumtree were a 1982 model........but it s the serial/vin numbers that tell the tale?

Brett, maybe this thread might help a bit, though there's no actual pics of the Aussie models, just the different export ones - CLICKETY

Actually, if you go to the part finder link in the second post, there's a heap of piccies of various models, not all, but a fair few of them

That's what I talking about, be great to clarify these things.  The link below states 1982 only.
It can be very confusing for us lesser mortals that can't remember all the facts.

Yes Eddy thought I said that? Recent info is that my motor is from 82. Curious if all police bikes were 82 or if there is another way to know year of motor.
But that said, I think it would be very cool to have the limited Aussie release models with a picture, numbers and details known about the model all in one place.
Thanks for the Link Jonesy think that answers all police bikes were 82 but no pictures and is Oceania Australia?
Love to see macho maroon compared to black red and see all the other differences of our Aussie models in one thread.
