Bikes all good once again. Bars and forks straightened, new rear pads. new braided rear brake line, tank repaired  ...again!..Stator cover fibreglassed and sprayed to match engine. New BP6ES plugs. Bike was running rough once I went on reserve . so I took off tank, removed taps----filters were fine. Maybe dodgy fuel?. Threw 5 litres of 98 in and she';s as good as new. Tough old girls these bikes :).

haa  Well said PGNZ.....The 12 I was looking at has 179 hp. 44,000 kms--05 0r 6 Model. immaculate with extras. Unfortunatly since I made an offer ive crashed the XS.  :o ::)....Only cosmetic damage. Bent bars, tank dented. Stator cover cactus. But its at my mates place who restores classic cars and bikes so we'll be back running soon. Anyone have/ know of a RH side Stator cover I could obtain?.  And yes, Busa's are way to fuggly

with an eleven or any musclebike you can still wring it out and give it a thrashing, the bike's all stomp from 0 to 100 mph just what you want on a street bike

zx12r a turbine jet that won't wake-up till 140 mph and rising , then takes off towards the speed of sound from there,
outside the nullabor plain about as much use as a bucket full of cane toads ,

just what you don't want in a street bike  heheh. a  zx12r is way better looking than those ugly busas though...

This is hard. Ive got my eye on a mint ZX12R. Unfortunately it would mean selling the XS.  :( :(....If someone makes me a reasonable offer.  Ive got a figure in mind.  I can send as many pics as you want ( by email ) . And Jonesy, you get first refusal.  Bike is running fine, needs new rear pads which im waiting on. Have complete history of bike back to 1984. .......sigh. Time to move into the 21st century.

Ok I'm not selling. A few months back I was poverty stricken but all good now. But you would have been at the top of the list Jonesy. Ive had the old Barge for almost 15 years now. Too much history.

I agree with Steptoe and Excess
the bike is worth what any buyer is prepared to pay for.  it doesn't matter how much sweat and labour you've put in to it  the buyer always has the final word
