Im not up with all this new automotive techno evilry but I like to drive around the local area for work in one of the 3 vehicles I drive without my seat belt. Im sure all the beeping will make it self destruct soon.....Unfortunatly the new forklift wont do anything without wearing seat  belt.

Hmmmmmm :-X,
Cars that see around corners at night, ::)
Cars that park themselves :'(
Cars that drive without a driver at the wheel :o
My car just broke and it ain't plugs, points or Darby so I'm stiffed >:(
I need the services of a bloke with a computer to tell me .............

"Mate, your car is stuffed and it will cost you heaps to fix the dilithium flux capacitor.

I like jonesy's thinking...... Old is better ;) at least a non tick like Ma can fix it on the side of a road in the middle of whoop whoop with pliers and fencing wire. :D

Gadgets gadgets and more gadgets.....where would we be without them.
Just bought a new car......and am spending hours ....leading into days with my head buried in manuals and learning half the mentality of how and why things operate to learn how and why the manufacturer bothered to equip the car with it to see if i could give a shite to actually push that button to turn it on and how to turn it off .
Ohhh......in keeping with the topic.....it has "Adaptive" headlights.
It knows i m going around a corner and extra lighting engages to light up the near roadside of the corner. ???
It has Xenon headlights which are" far ken" phenomenal the way they light the road and you can actually see the the way it shadows the road for oncoming traffic whilst giving you a far superior view on your side and shoulders of the road. High beam is cavernous...there s nothing that escapes your view ....

You need to experience the Monaro Highway during snow season. Wouldn't matter how fast you drove which is why in 100K there is generally two to three Patrol cars.
I regularly fly over it and even if there is a string of cars off in to the distance there will always be a knob trying to overtake them all.

A pic of the snowy mountains from 13,00 ft and the Highway from about 6000 feet.

I was in Repco the other day. A young bloke was trying to buy some new headlight globes. The salesman said "you can buy these super bright ones but every one will hate you"

After driving back from Cooma yesterday with some knob in a FWD up my arse with his stupid globes blinding me I'm inclined to agree with the man from Repco.

Headlight Technology

Headlight technology is changing once again. BMW have developed "Laser" headlights that double the performance of LED headlights to 600 mtrs. Also adapt to oncoming traffic with the ability to "See around corners"
Very very orgasmic  8) :D
Just one teeny weenie small catch though (isn t there always ;)"
You have to buy the latest 7 series BMW.
Ohhh...it also has the ability to "self park" and...wait for it...."unpark".
Some mention about being able to drive itself up to 215 kmph.
