Nice one Jonesy ....better than checking yourself out as you go past shop windows.......a lot safer as well  ;D ;)
Re the GP.............I must admit...from an entertainment point of view.........the change of bikes within 10 laps certainly added excitement and drama as the race progressed............reminicent  of the good old days where pit crews /le mans start and rider changes ...also added to the final team result. :P

ready to go on the Wednesday morning

And home for the next 3days

Both bikes ran faultlessly most of the time.........Only one small glitch on the hard pannier bike when it needed a push start at my last stop picking up some stuff in Bathurst before lobbing home, a problem that will be looked into later.
And my mate was very impressed with these old steeds, we rode one bike all day then swapped for the following day, averaging 550 ks a day for 4 days return trip. its pretty cool being able to follow your own bike and see how it sits in the road while still on your own bike ;D

I like the way you think Fred.......on arrival one of them will be relieved of its contents, and replaced with beer and ice

Its a little way off yet but also closer than you think
are there any others making the pilgrimage?
We'll be camping trackside arriving Friday a.m. departing Monday a.m. We'll also have a Ute with us bringing firewood and other luxury camping items. also acting as a recovery vehicle I'd welcome others to make the trip with us and set up camp
