The 79 SF in the middle was bought brand new in 79. It was my first. I had a lapse of reasoning and sold it a few years later (83 or 84). The guy who bought it from me was hit while he and his wife were sitting alongside the highway taking a break. They were ok so that is good. I bought the bike back about a year (roughly) after I sold it to him. Bought it back for $750 bucks (damaged) and went ahead with repairs. It served me well for many years.
Then in about 2007, I decided to try to fix it up a bit and needed some advice. Well that is when I found there were forums on the internet. One thing led to another and now I have a disease that results in accumulating these bikes. I have 4 more that are not pictured but of those only two will be salvageable. I will have to thank my wife for being so understanding as they are her step children and she does not much care for them.
The 78 E on the far end of the line up is by far my most favorite ride. No real reason other than it just feels "RIGHT". All of them have there good and bad points but I love em all as any good father would.  ;D
78E, 79SF currently running and road ready.

Very impressive indeed, it must be quite a challenge deciding which one to ride and then to give them all a fair share of your time and not show favouritism towards your kids, lol .  :D

Cheers

Bought  pressure washer so I lined up the running bikes to give them a bath. I should have bathed them first but I took pics of them as they patiently waited.
Only three of these are currently insured for the road.
