I have been asked that we not mention Brian's passing out of respect for his lady, Sissel.

She has asked the members there that nothing be posted on the site about what happened.

One of the other UK members has the access to the site for now using Brian's access that is why he is still showing, I think it is Andy who has it?? not sure.

So for now best that we lay low about the whole thing until I get word.

This is shocking news. I wouldn't be an XS owner if it were not for the confidence the UK site gave me. Very sad news about a very generous and clever man.

Hi Chris.

Sad news about Brian Bennett.

Please say in the Aussi-List that nobody shall contact Brian's e-mail
address. Brian's wife is total down and in a really bad condition. So,
please, nobody shall any mails, questions or whatever.

Thank you very much

Dieter & Doris  (also very battered!)

I am shocked, Brian and Sissel were such good friends when I was there with my daughter.

Sad to hear of this. I was just on the UK site and nothing is being mentioned there.

Brian is actually being shown as online. Strange.

I just read an article on the

Scared the shit out of me.
So that's it!
After today, no more reading.

Shocked, would be an appropriate word for it!
The founding father of it all. He will be sorely missed.
Only talked via email, but he was a very likeable and old school values type of bloke.
Will miss his banter on the UK site.

This just in from the UK......

Hi Folks; Just though that you guys "Down Under" should know... Brian Bennett passed away, suddenly, at home yesterday. Full details not yet known, but it appears that he suffered a massive heart attack -
