:o  Hey Pete, looks like you are making it impossible for me to keep up, even on the FJR  ;D Seriously though, its really looking trick mate, good to see your happy with her. Give me a buzz when you want to go for a blast up the Putty again, maybe not this weekend  >:( Bloody double demerits.
Cheers: Phil

Yeah, I'd have to agree about the ease of working on them.  I look forward to seeing it in the flesh at Bourke.

Very very nice, an exotic piece of machinery, no doubt!!  Do you miss the XS?

thanx, i do and i dont, i like the comfort handling and power of the busa
i liked the old school look of the xs and the more uprite position on the shorter trips,
plus it was easy to work on and being an old school mechanic i understood the xs
over the new electronic/ fuel injection busa.

yeah theyre a beautiful bike
but they need respect, there just so powerful,
ive seen a pic or 2 with an xs with the busa front end,
not sure how it would work tho, theres not to much travel
in the busa forks and u would probably need to go heavier on the front springs.

I was looking into these the other day Pete. They sound like an amazing bike. Aparently the front forks will almost bolt straight onto the XS1100 frame just need an obsolete taper bearing so one close needs to be machined down a fraction.

I have not riden any other bikes, I need to take a few for a test ride I reckon one of these should be on the list  :P

not sure if any of u guys are interested
but i thought id post a cpl of pics of my busa

the bike was pretty much stock when i got it
ive added the following -
new yoshi slip ons
short levers
heated grips
fender eliminator
double bubble screen
new heavy front springs  1.2kilo
adj rear linkage  (rear raised an inch)
new seat covers with kanji logo
ecu has been flashed with all restrictions removed
and red line raised from 11,000rpm to 12,500.

its a beautiful bike to ride,
tho my daugher still prefers the xs over the busa
especially when riding pillion.  :-)
