Brake Bleed Sputnik!!

Yea Steptoe....seems that everything is now sorted...You know the story mate...a month doesn't seem a long time hey....but with these old girls, there's always something to tinker on, that fine adjustment or just normal running repairs. Mine gets used daily...which is  good thing....so hopefully I will make the next rally!!!

Hey Ev, you're onto it mate!!  Yea difficult to keep the pressure on the lever, undo the bleeder and balance the bottle all at the same time. Mate...it took some serious thought one Sunday arv over a couple of frosties. Did a 3D drawing and all!! Notice that the Sputnik is beautifully crafted, square edges and trimmed, collapses into 2 pieces for ease of storage (that's what the Patent Office really liked)!!!   Very rare timber, well weathered etc!!

Thanks for the compliment mate. Still have bit to go on the ol' girl. It takes time just to polish and keep polishing. Sunday arvo's are normally polishing days listening to the radio, unless of course some invention comes to mind. She's running really good now and haven't had touch anything for more than a month!!!

Ok, I'll buy that! That device was fabricated ala Steptoe style, as in, you had an idea, looked around the garage and spotted some old bits of timber off cuts and fabbed it up? I like it. What did the Patent Office say about it? How long till you can release the device for public consumption?

Nice shiny bits, by the way. Your bike still looks better than brand new. I wish my old thing looked half as good.

Works a dream and I spose all you guys can laugh ya heads off (including valves and stem seals etc)....seriously folks.....should have thought of this years ago!!!

This invention is totally collapsable and patent is pending!!!
