Q, What does an old school mechanic do when his
electronically  modern super bike breaks down?

A,  he scratches his head and thinks
wtf do i do know.

we had been out riding all day sunday, coming home from the mountains
giving it a good fanging when i was half way in a bend the bike cuts out
on me, pulled over to the side of the road and saw the red FI light flashing,
this was my biggest nitemare of buying a new bike, anything that went wrong
with the old xs i could always figure it out,
anyway 10 min later and with crossed finger i thought id try and start the bike
it started and i was on my way again, the bike cut out on me at least a dozen times
before i got it home but would restart each time.

2 days later and a bit of searching,i found that  the busa has a diagnostic plug that when you
join the two wires together would give u an error code on the instrument panel,
so in the end all it was, was the tip over switch had a broken bracket and was
flopping around.

so at least it wasnt as drastic as i thought it might be
and i learned a few things on the way.

i love this bike it handles beautifully, has heaps of power
and is very  comfortable.
