Bloody good photos there.  The time lapse ones are just beautiful.

Last time I tried to get to the Brindabella site, some Adelaide friends killed at Triumph 955 Sprint out near Hay and then a 955 Tiger about 2km shy of the paddock gate.  Given that none of us were rich and the other 2 bikes were kind of new, we thought better of it at the top of the paddock hill, before the run down the mine shaft.  Ended upheading home, on Bridabella Rd in the dark and mud.  We rode back to Wagga, put the wood fire on and had our rally in my living room.  My missus was kinda pissed off at my younger brother who decided that no sausages should be cooked without half an inch of oil in the pan, which he didn't clean up.  I've only been to the Yarrangobilly site a couple of times since. Think the 40th was the last time.

Great rally, good to catch up with people you've met over the years.  Not so good if you like to go to bed early & sober.

cheers

Next year the Rally is in the Brindabella Valley at the bottom of a Wombat track.  Broke my ribs a couple of years ago trying to get a K100 outa there.  That's why I bought a 650 Dominator. Not an easy site to get in or out of.  The Rally alternates between there and Yarrongabilly on the Snowy Mountains Highway.

The lads were up until 2AM doing burnouts, letting off fireworks, singing to their gee tars and generally getting pissed. First light was not a good time for many of the participants. (when the pic was taken)

I had to wait until about 10 AM until the black ice melted on Talbingo mountain before I could set off for home. It was covered in ice and loose gravel. Only 8km but straight down with lots of 35K corners.

No pensioners were harmed during the activity including this one.
