Just going by the bid history, it looks like the same anonymous bidder with a rating of 267 was the high bidder each time.

When a US import is worth $8k....?

Of course, if you really want something, the cost probably doesn't matter.  But I ask myself, how many people really want an XS11 in the first place.  How many really want a US import?

On the other hand, lots of people want to buy something someone else has done all the work on, and spent all the money on.  A cosmetic restoration will come in clearly over $3k.  Add another $3k for a mechanical restoration.  And that is on top of the cost of the bike.

Makes me wonder about the accuracy of my first statement. :-\
cheers

This one's back again. $3,000 start price this time round - CLICK

The problem with relisting over and over again is that people will tire of the game after a couple of disappointments, and whoever actually bid $6700 last time round may not bother again, so the monetary downward spiral continues.....

Here tis again.........and again and again and again........and......
Same seller fantasizing about how he can make a quick $4,000 profit on purchase price.......... from someone in one hit.
A nice well kept....... low mileage bike no doubt......... albeit the less attractive and spec d Yankee model.
Has been repainted.
