Along with the Frame earthing/Negative points.............

These ones ........are midway  in the main loom itself........

From Memory......there should be 3 black wires that have ring terminal connectors on them....these attach under one of the screws holding down the regulator/rectifier situated on top of the frame .....under the fuel tank.

A heatsink finned rectangular shaped component........you can t miss it once the tank is removed.

Click on the schematic link.......use the enlarge option at the top right.......then use the enlarge slider at the bottom right.......drag the diagram around to the top centre section......you ll see 2 ring connectors with 3 wires into them.....marked ....."ground"

if u follow the neg lead from the battery
it will attach to the frame, then another lead
from the frame usually goes to the middle drive,

Hi all.........its been a while, but Bert is almost ready for the road. Biggest problem is the electrics......once was well, took Bert for a bit of a trip up the road, but now all hell has let loose ! All the electric componants now have a mind of their own..turn off the engine kill, the indicator idiot lights come on, no head/tail lights, no starter and no spark at the plugs....I reckon its a duff earth somewhere ( though electrics are not my strong point, if I even have one ) so if anyone can tell me where the earthing points are on the bike, i'd be eternally obliged !
