Very gracious of you, Jeff, I'm just setting up the temp fuel tank & see if she runs.
As soon as I know that it runs I'll give you a heads up & come on down when you can, I'll put the Billy on.

these use #2 as the set carb,,, adjust 1 and 2 together, using the screw on 1 , then 3 and 4, using the screw on 4, then bring them together using the screw on 2, only having a double gauge will see you doing the process several times to get it spot on,

I sync mine on at about 900 rpm, I found I got a much smoother finished job, than using a higher rev, as your going you might need to keep turning the idle down because the fueling is getting much closer to right

Gday Wiz........as offered on here before to other Victorians........melbxs (Brian) and myself have a carbtune kit as well as a colourtune kit .........any excuse for a ride i always say......so i don t think there d be an issue for us to head down to see you and help out one way or the other.Getting the carbs synched and mixtures right makes an unbelievable difference to the runnning of these warhorses.
The offer is there if you d like to take it up okies.

Do you sync' the rack in 2 pairs, then bring the 2 pairs together ( I haven't got a 4 gauge manometer )
The XJs use #3 as the default, but these are different, no ?
