lou,
mine uses the bolt that goes thru the frame and rear guard,
the same bolt that u remove when u want to raise the rear guard up
when changing out the rear wheel.

the long angled brackets and the clamp go at the back of the rack, depending where you want it to sit in relation to the seat, and blinker,{which will have to be removed to fit} will determine where each goes of course

and the short brackets go to the front and onto the shock mount bolt, mines better than 15 yr old, hence the front bit being remod-ed because of rust siezure

Gearsack are no longer in buisness, was wondering if someone that has a gearsack on their bike could send a closeup picture as I have one on an 85 Fj1100 that I may be able to modify to fit the RH?

Thanks once again.
