I didn't change any wiring so it has the original colours, shrink wrap will just make the wires less flexible so it would be harder getting them around the tight bends.
Just slotted the newer fusebox into place and added the power relay so the power goes straight from the battery to the fuse with the ignition switch controlling the relay

Nice job, xtian, mine should end up similar down the line some when, the guys on the xjbikes would say "you could have used the right colour tails" I do it like you, but put a bit of coloured shrink wrap on each wire.

Hey Wiz,

depends on the model mate.

Four fuzes:
Main (30A) on left side of panel, then left to right as follows
Headlight (10A)
Turn Signal (20A)
Ignition (10A)
There are also clips for 3 spares.

1980 XS1100
Five Fuses:
Four in the panel under right side cover.
Left to Right
Taillight (10A)
Headlight (10A)
Turn Signal (20A)
Ignition (10A)
Clips for 2 spares
Main Fuze (30A) is located in a holder under the Left side panel along with a clips for 1 spare

best of luck
