Title: tension spring
Post by: retro on November 10, 2015, 03:28:58 PM
Help    When I removed the sidecover to check the shift mechanism the whole shaft came out.
I did not see how the tension spring sat on the stopper bolt.
That box of matches is getting closer.
                                                                           Thanks Tony

Hi Jonesy
Yes that's the spring with that photo and EDDYS help all back together.
Thanks Eddy hoping that fixes my jumping into first gear problem
The PO had the spring just sitting on the dowel with the two legs of the spring still crossed.  ::) ::)
Thanks everybody for your help        Tony
