Reading between the lines.........I think this project has come to a stop due to Tuning , electrical and registration issues. Why else would you go this far in a project and then palm it off?
Not sure I entertain the other reasons put up by the seller.

The so called "Bash Plate " whats that all about? Must do wonders for the cooling of the engine. ::)

For Sale my 1979 XS1100 tracker project
Bike runs ok and selects all gears

Been a project of mine for a year or so.Too many projects and no time- so unfortunately i have to sell her.
Custom Tracker build;
XS750 tank (slimmer cleaner lines)
custom seat, guards, headlight, frame loop, bash plate, battery box. wheels painted black.
New posh blinkers, tail light, lithium battery, pod filters, renthal bars, mini speedo, new 4 into 1 headers. New shinko 705 front and dunlop trailmax 140 rear. New clutch and friction plates
Bike has been minimised with a tracker style, with plenty of power
Bike only needs tune and minor wiring tidy up for blinkers and headlight
Bike is currently unregistered
also listed elsewhere so reserve right to remove
