"Hello,
This bike is a project, it's a 1978 YAMAHA XS1100E OCEANIA with a DCP (I think) SIDECAR, hopefully, it was going to be my project and I have done some work i.e. new battery, new windscreen for sidecar (not in Pics), throttle control, air cleaner front brake pads and lined the petrol tank.

Sure the bike and sidecar paint work is a bit ratty but there are no dings and it would repaint very nicely.

I bought it from a bloke near Sydney and he tells me it is of the style that was used by the Victorian police in the early vehicle days.
It is presently painted blue but the original colour is Macho Maroon and this can be seen under the blue overpaint.

The electric start turns over the motor but as yet I haven't let it start as it would probably need a clean after sitting in Sydney for some years.

As you can see from the photos there is some work still to be done but it is a lovely old outfit and with the proper attention will make you a very proud rider.

PICK UP IS DESIRED BUT I AM PREPARED TO HOLD THE BIKE FOR YOU TO ARRANGE COLLECTION BY COURIER AS LONG AS PAYMENT IS RECEIVED SHORTLY AFTER THE AUCTION FINISH DATE."
