:o Not permitted I'm afraid. Not enough cylinders :P
-
I wondered about that....not going to kick me off the site I hope :'(

Mate, you'd love the sound of it, but will be very disappointed at the lack of go when you twisted the throttle, especially when compared to Lucrezia!
-
geez Errol
I reckon it could be bored to 900, less weight, suitable tuning....could be a good thing
:D

My old 2D did handle very well. Mind you, the lack of any excess of power from the motor probably helped it's hand there.
Did I say you'd love the sound of the exhaust note?

Errol mate
thats part of the appeal for me

I doubt these are cheap enough to start with but you are getting a lot of bits including drilled discs - CLICK (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yamaha-XS750-Bobber-Cafe-Racer-Classic-/150841386990?pt=AU_Motorcycle_Parts_Accessories&hash=item231ed8e7ee#ht_500wt_949)

I think that it would be a wasted effort, they are an orphan bike with very little performance potential and as a Cafe racer the shaft drive let's it down.it is my opinion that apart from a couple of racing XS1100's i have not seen a really trick XS1100 on the street in Australia, they have a lot of potential and with a chain drive and later model front end would be a real road eater and would not be that costly.
