I am a private salesman and sell no more necessary things from my own household accordingly almost exclusively act to predominantly it around used articles with appropriate customs traces.
Since the opinions can differ over the article condition subjectively from person to person strongly, inquire please BEFORE offering with me, if you are not safe whether the article your expectations correspond can.

What the man writes is merely a warranty disclaimer you will find in most european auctions, since we here in Europe has were strong warranty rules, also for for private sales of used stuff (Up to 2 years even on used goods).
He therefore understandably wants to free himself from lawsuits when someone finds a tiny scratch he has overlooked or forgotten to mention.
He ships only inside Germany as most germans do, to avoid the hassle of finding freightrates/customs papers/rules for every country in the world, but i`m sure he will ship outside Germany too, if asked in German (since he states thats his only language) and presented with useable shipping-info.
Regarding the "Likewise i proceed with Sofortkauf inquire!" It`s seller telling that he will end the auction early and sell on buyout if someone were to make him an irresisteble offer on the exhaust.
If any of you guys should find yourself tempted to bid in on the auction, i hereby humbly offer my services regarding communication with the man, to find out whether or not it`s possible to get the item to Australia, which i`m close to certain that it is. :)

Have just today sent him a letter asking whether or not he is willing to ship outside Germany, so now its just to hold our breath untill the reply ticks in (if you start feeling dizzy your allowed to take small breaths as needed, since there`s still 3 days left of the auction) :D

No he s not really dreaming............i ve had some companys give me quotes on items from the USA that the general posting service won t handle due to size......and an original / replica exhaust system fits into that catagory due to the fact it wont break down into a smaller parcel/box as a 4into 1 system would.Those prices ranged from $740 to over $1000 depending on who your getting your quotes from..........once articles like this get over a particular size ,they are priced on volumetric weight .Other options are by sea , if you want to wait 3 months for the ship to take your parcel on it s own vacation to half the ports in the world ,which because of the stuffing around sellers were nt helpful on.There are cheaper ways but it involves you doing most of the customs work and getting other(useless)people to act on your behalf.

He will sell outside Germany, but as mentioned above by Excess.11 is the exhaust to big for ordinary postal services to handle, and that is what seems to be the reason for the Germany-only policy.
If you still have an interest the seller will try to find another way of shipping and calculate the shipping-costs to Australia, but for that he needs to have the recipients adress, which cam be put in a PM to me, and i`ll see to that he gets it.
