Why are motor cycle tyres so relatively expensive? Can i get tyres which last longer on the rear of my xs than Metzellers?[are bridgestones a better value option?]Thanx
-
Hey Scotty
Check out the review section, some blokes are quoting big K's out of some brands
-
thanx Jonesy, but where is the review section?Pps-what do you think is the best option pls?
-
heres a link i think jonesy was refering too,
i just bought a shinko tour master for $180
was cheaper than the bt45 and metzlers.
-
thanx Pete,still and all,hardly a bargain
-
theres the cheaper shinko,
was the old tyre in the pic,
i think that was around 130, that would
probably be the cheapest rear tyre u could get.
-
thanx blokes
-
Peter,
I couldnt see any link.
Ps I saw an add for long wearing tyres-Michelin,unless i dreamt it
Thanx
-
Avons, a bit more expensive, but folks are claiming 16-24k, which makes them cheap. IMHO.

You could also try scrolling down to the bottom of the "general talk" section and you'll see a sub-section called "Reviews".....its in there, under "tyres"
