Have you heard of 'Bike Bandit"?

Full of microfiche of hundreds of bikes.

The link should take you direct to Yamaha OEM parts pages.

I found an excellent feature on this site which is very useful if you're contemplating trying to fit bits from one model onto another. Eg: I was fitting my 16" rear wheel onto my bike and was wondering if the RH parts were the same, or not.
Well, here's how it worked for me............

^ with the homepage up, just run the cursor over the drop down menus at the top till you see this bit (Donor Bike parts) and click on it.

^ Simply select the model the donor bike and then choose the model of your bike, which area of the bike you are after (centre menu) and select if you want to see all the common parts, all the different parts, or just all parts.

^ I selected all parts, which gave me a list like this where you can see if the different bits are compatible. I was really concerned about the brake torque plate so I investigated by clicking here.

This opened up a new window which displayed an exploded diagram, totally zoomable etc, with all parts listed for positive identification, and as you can see, the part I was looking at is definitely the brake torque stopper # 24 on the diagram which is exactly the same part as the RH.

Wish I'd seen this a while back. it would have saved me a lot of measuring and speculation.
This site is an incredibly useful tool and should prove to be very handy even for new owners to help identify the particular bits they are after.
Thank you Brian. Yer bloods worth bottling!
