Steptoe lost his rear blinker and stem on the saturday ride at last years wellington run so not unheard of, and I,ve had the wheel end of a speedo cable come undone, so maybe you  just got a double wammy of the unusual?

I was riding home from a run up to Grey Gums on Sunday and my mate told me one of my rear indicators was missing! I pulled the rear light assembly apart and there is nothing amiss therein. Unless someone has heard of this happening (it just falling out) I'm assuming someone has been harvesting bits! My speedo cable had become detached at the speedo end. It's a bit sad as neither part is very expensive on ebay.
