You dont know how much, Everedy, that's the 15mm I was looking for, the damb caliper arm, slaps head, this is what you get when someone else takes the bike apart. Thanks.

Hi Wiz, do these help at all?

This top pic shows both types of spacers/ mounts. The Special/RH on the left, Standard on the right

This has both assemblies on an axle just as they fit on the bike - Special on the left.

P.S. There is a collar shown in your exploded diagram. No 17.
There's lots of good diagrams plus part photos on the UK site - CLICK
Thank you Brian

Getting there now pgnz, the long spacer is inside the hub, what I seem to be short of is about 15mm long, on the rotor side, if I slide it all together the end of the axel, with the hole through it would not be visible outside of the swing arm, I would love a pic of the axel, rotor side, anyone ?

well part 2 is a 70mm length spacer (20mm I.D.)    the collar(17) is just thin and slides onto the spacer to make the spacer easier to line up when you slide the axle through,  the spacer locks to the right side wheel bearing(4) inner race and locks to the removable  inner race(3) of the left side wheel bearing

I desperately need a photograph showing how all the spacers & flanges fit in relation to the wheel & tension bar, the parts drawing just don't cut it.

That can't be the one, it's way too long & the parts list doesn't show a collar.

if this is the one,  then you'd be better off getting one from a wrecker,  it's 20mm I.D.   25mm O.D.  with length 87.80 mm according to my calipers and there's a 4.5mm thick collar 37mm diameter width sitting 15.77 mm from one end

Hey wiz
If no one comes up with the answer, you could pop the bearings in, measure from inside of bearing to inside of the opposite bearing and that should be your spacer length. you could probably add 1/2 a fag paper thickness and still be fine. Working from memory here but i think the 2 bearings seat on a shoulder in the hub so you cant get the position wrong. The purpose of the spacer is to prevent putting undue stress on the inner races by squashing them together when tightening the axle.
hope I havent stated the obvious.....just a thought on how you can work out the length of spacer.

Hi, can anyone give me the exact length of the rear axel spacer #2 on the parts list, mine is missing & I will have to make one. Thanks Wiz.
